    Spam Control for Outlook Accounts

DePaul offers Outlook users a spam control system that assesses e-mail coming from outside the university.

If you use student e-mail (you@students.depaul.edu) or condor e-mail (you@condor.depaul.edu):
    • The student and condor e-mail systems have their own spam control features that work differently than the Outlook system. You must use the web-based interface to take advantage of these features.

    • Go to https://studentweb.depaul.edu

    • Yes, both condor and student e-mail addresses can use the "studentweb" site.
    Spam control notes:
    • Spam control does not delete any e-mail, regardless of whether it is classified as spam.

    • Everyone's definition of what constitutes spam e-mail is different; therefore, it is IMPOSSIBLE for a computer to determine with 100% accuracy if an e-mail is spam.

    • Ultimately, what constitutes as spam is left to personal interpretation.
    • Please see how it works for more information
