    Modify White List

A white list contains e-mail addresses that will be ignored by the spam control system. A white list enables certain e-mail addresses to reach you untagged. It is not necessary to enter any DePaul Outlook addresses in the white list. Focus only on e-mail that you receive from outside the university.

Use of the white list is highly recommended. It is especially helpful for e-mail from professional associations, vendors, and other groups to which you belong, because group or bulk e-mail is often constructed in such a way that the spam control system may assign it a possible spam tag.
    1. Log onto Campus Connection.
    2. Select "Demographic Portfolio" from the main menu.
    3. Select "E-mail addresses."
    4. Select "Start/change spam control."
    5. Select the "tag spam" check box for your Outlook e-mail address (you@depaul.edu). To unsubscribe, remove the checkmark.
    6. Select "advanced options."
    7. Select your desired level of sensitivity.
    8. Select "Insert."
    9. Type in the e-mail addresses that you do not want marked as spam. Select "+" to add another e-mail address to your white list, or "-" to delete an e-mail address.
    10. Click "Save" when all e-mail addresses are entered.
