Student Telephones
Lincoln Park residence hall rooms are equipped with telephone connections and standard calling features including voice mail, call waiting, three-way calling, and call forwarding. Each Lincoln Park resident has his/her own telephone connection and telephone number.

- Your extension is the last five digits of your phone number
DePaul University has contracted with PaeTec Communications for all local and long distance telephone service and billing. PaeTec supplies each campus resident with a personal billing number (PBN) that identifies the user and allows students to place calls from any residence hall telephone.

General Usage:
- Each student must provide his or her own telephone. In order to receive the best telephone service, we recommend using corded telephones.
- Students receive a personal billing number (PBN) and detailed information upon move-in. Contact PaeTec customer service if you did not receive your PBN.
- Each student is personally responsible for timely payment of all monthly charges billed to his/her assigned telephone number or PBN.
- Your PBN can be used for off-campus phone calls. The call will be billed as local or
long distance depending on the location from which you are calling.
- You cannot receive collect calls at any DePaul extension.
