Procurement & Payment handles the purchasing/leasing of all DePaul office printers and peripherals.

PC/Printer Repair Fee and Policy:
  • A labor fee of $75 per hour (plus the cost of parts) is charged when assessing, repairing, and/or upgrading out-of-warranty computers and HP printers.

  • There is no labor fee for servicing PCs or HP printers still under warranty.

  • When the warranty is expired, equipment is more labor intensive and expensive to maintain. Therefore, an hourly fee becomes necessary for such equipment.

  • University departments can avoid PC repair fees by replacing non-warranteed equipment through the PC Replacement Program.

    • In this program, each PC is leased for a three-year period and is covered by warranty throughout the lease.
