The Intelliprint system tracks the number of prints made. When a person sends a print from their computer, they will be prompted to assign to the job a simple unique identifying name and password. The person then walks up to an "Intelliprint" station, swipes their DePaul ID card through a card reader, and views the jobs in the print queue. The person then selects the job to be printed, and enters the unique password.

The print station will show the person the amount of money held in their "Demon Express" account. If there are sufficient funds in the person's Demon Express account, the job will print. The charge per print is $0.08.

Individuals can add money to their Demon Express account at Value Transfer Stations in libraries and computer labs, visiting a Cashiers Office, or through Campus Connect.
