Network Licensed Software

DePaul University has additional course-specific software that is not considered "standard," but is available to people who need it, including: SAS, SPSS, Minitab, and Maple. If you need to use one of these programs in your office, please contact the Help Desk at Ext. 2-8765. All other software requests must follow the software acquisition procedure.
  • To access SAS, SPSS, or Minitab (statistical programs) in the classrooms/labs:

    1. Click on your computer's "Start" tab.
    2. Click on "Courseware Applications."
    3. Click on "Statistical Applications."

      • DePaul has a fixed number of licenses for each program, so your computer will check the DePaul network to see if there are available licenses on campus.

        • If there are no licenses available, you will be notified once one becomes available.
        • A work-at-home license is available to students who need SAS.

          • Faculty members must contact the software consultant at Ext. 2-8899 to request at home licenses for students.

        • There are no work-at-home licenses available for faculty/staff for SPSS, Minitab, and Maple.

  • To access Maple (a mathematical program) in the classrooms/labs:

    1. Click on your computer's "Start" tab.
    2. Click on "Courseware Applications."
    3. Click on "Install applications for LA&S."
