A: IPrint from Anywhere is a feature of DePaul University's Intelliprint system that allows students to send print jobs and release them at any of the designated Intelliprint print job release stations via their Windows or Macintosh laptop. Q: How does IPrint from Anywhere Work? A: IPrint from Anywhere works by logging onto Campus Connect and downloading an IPrint from Anywhere software package. The software package installs the Intelliprint client and printer drivers needed for you to release your print job at the desired printing release station location. Q: Where does IPrint from Anywhere allow me to Print from? A: After authenticating to Campus Connect, you may download any IPrint from Anywhere package however you must be ON CAMPUS in order to send a print job and retrieve it from the designated printing station. Q: What Benefits does IPrint from Anywhere Provide? A: IPrint from Anywhere allows students to send print jobs from a laptop to a designated print release station and gives the freedom of releasing the print job at the student's convenience. Students can print "on the run" without the need to visit a computer lab and logging onto a workstation. IPrint from Anywhere also aids in saving paper and toner costs thus enhancing DePaul's effort to be more environmentally friendly. Q: Which Computer Operating Systems are Compatible with IPrint from Anywhere? A: IPrint from Anywhere is compatible with the latest version of Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Mac OS. Q: Will IPrint from Anywhere Software Affect Printers I already have installed on my Laptop? A: No, the software packages for IPrint from Anywhere will not affect any current local printer installations or settings you may have or intend on installing at a future time. Also, students are not required to obtain their own printers in order to use IPrint from Anywhere. Q: How many IPrint from Anywhere Printers can I have Installed onto my Laptop? A: Depending on your printing needs, you may have as many IPrint from Anywhere print packages installed as you wish. The software package also includes the ability to uninstall a printing package if you find you no longer need it. The uninstall process will not affect any previous local printers or settings. Q: What University Printers may I Print to with IPrint from Anywhere? A: For a list of printers available to use with IPrint from Anywhere, see "Package Details and Printer Location" for PC or for Mac. Please check often since updates happen frequently and new printing locations are constantly being added. Q: Where do I Obtain IPrint from Anywhere Software Packages?
